I am a 1997 graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where I earned my B.A. in Criminal Justice, Cum Laude. After taking a 2 year hiatus, I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore, School of Law with a concentration in Business Law. I simultaneously obtained credits and earned my Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation in 2003.

While in law school, I clerked for the Honorable Alfred Nance, retired Chief Judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.

I am admitted to practice in the state courts within the State of Maryland, in the Federal District Court of Maryland, in the District of Columbia and before the United States Tax Court.

As a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, I serve on the Pro Bono and Estate & Trust Committees. I enjoy giving back to the communities I serve and actively participate in Pro Bono workshops throughout Maryland, where I provide free legal advice to residents in need.

As a listed member of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Services (MVLS), I was honored with the 2012 Volunteer of the Year Award for my longstanding support of the MVLS Program in areas of law including bankruptcy, tax controversy, family law, estate planning and foreclosure prevention. In 2013, I was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Governor Martin O'Malley and Chief Judge Robert M. Bell in recognition of my services with the Maryland Foreclosure Prevention Pro Bono Project.

My current practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate, Business Organization and Bankruptcy.
